First pic: This is the afghan that I made for my mom last christmas. It was such a cozy knit... and a fast one too. I am trying to decide if lionbrand has enough magenta and pinks to warrant me making one in * my * colors. :)

Second pic: the leavings and the first of a matched set of pillows for a friend, done with the excessive leftovers from the afghan.

I had forgotten how dead simple the pattern is and how easy it is to fall into a rhythm. I also forgot what a PAIN in the ass Chenille T & Q is to work with. Grrr grrr grr.

Ahhh but we must occassionally suffer for beauty's sake.
